Vector’s Client in Mclean, VA is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to support the CEO of a growing Digital Marketing Firm. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to the CEO, assisting in daily office needs and managing their company’s general administrative activities.

The ideal candidate will manage the CEO’s calendar on a daily basis, including making any travel and meeting arrangements and preparing any necessary reports. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills, be flexible and have experience with MSOffice.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the CEO’s calendar, organize and schedule appointments
  • Plan, attend meetings with the CEO and take detailed notes during meetings
  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
  • Maintain contact lists
  • Book travel arrangements
  • Submit and reconcile expense reports
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients as necessary

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years minimum experience as an administrative assistant, or office administrative assistant
  • Comfortable attending meetings with CEO and acting as his right -hand
  • Must be professional and polished
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem- solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be flexible, have strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • High School degree and/or some college preferred
  • Any marketing background a plus!
