Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the Director of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, provides the general administrative supervision for the staff and programs for this division. He/she provides some direct clinical supervision and delegates or assigns other clinical supervision to fellow staff; provides program and clinical consultation to other staff and programs in the agency, as well as community services and agencies; provides a limited level of direct clinical service in his/her specialty. Responsible for coordinating the agencyâs EAP Program.
Qualifications:
- MA, MS, or MSW in Behavioral Health.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ supervisory experience.
- On track for VT Licensure according to the Office of Professional Regulation.
Availability:
Full time, 37.5 hrs. per week. Monday – Friday with some schedule flexibility.
Requirements:
ADMINISTRATIVE SUPERVISION AND LEADERSHIP:
Provides general administrative supervision and leadership for the division including all staff programs and systems of supervision and direction.
Delegates some direct program or staff supervision to program managers and coordinators as indicated and necessary.
PARTICIPATION IN THE UCS MANAGEMENT TEAM:
Participates in the Management Team of UCS providing input and decision-making for agency-wide policies and issues; inter-department planning and problem-solving; and inter-department advocacy and coordination.
LIAISON AND NETWORKING:
Provides ongoing liaison and networking to local, regional, and state entities, including community agencies, staff and state and local governments, and other funding sources.
CLINICAL SUPERVISION:
Provides clinical supervision to a limited number of therapists based on his/her clinical specialty.
This includes weekly clinical supervision of staff, as well as being primarily responsible for reviewing and signing off on case reviews, and other relevant clinical paper work.
SPECIALTY CONSULTATION TRAINING AND PSYCHOTHERAPY SERVICES:
Provides consultation, specialty training such as Employee Assistance programming or the like, and psychotherapy service to area agencies, corporations, and clients on a limited basis, based on demand and time availability.
