Job Title: Director of Operations, Aviation Services Sector

Job Location: Waco, TX

• Develop a world class operations organization through various staffing, training and talent management initiatives. This includes development and implementation of strategies to meet cost, quality, delivery, customer satisfaction, EHS, and continuous improvement goals.
• Responsible for working cross functionally with Aviation Services Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and
• Operational Excellence leadership to drive the daily operations. Additional responsibilitiesinclude leading the organization in the development and implementation of operating philosophies and business strategies.
• Develop, implement and sustain success metrics, incorporating best practices, and effectively communicating improvements.
• Achieve critical manufacturing productivity goals by developing and deploying best lean manufacturing practices to meet AOP and SGP plans.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Engineering, or similar field. Advanced degree in management preferred
• 12 years’ experience in DoD manufacturing environment 8 years’ experience in a leadership role with in-depth knowledge and understanding of manufacturing methods, production planning, procurement, and subcontract management
• Demonstrated ability to implement improved materials management processes
• Exceptional problem solving skills
• Strong experience implementing a metric driven approach across all Operations functions
• Proven ability to identify performance issues and implement the necessary changes in a timely and effective manner
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment An effective communicator at all levels of the organization
