TRC Digital is looking for a passionate and driven Project Manager with proven experience driving organizational change through ownership and execution of key programs. You are expected to engage with various business leaders and stakeholders to understand how data-driven changes to process, services, software and hardware can improve efficiencies and add value. You must be able to not only articulate those ideas but also balance them against what’s technologically feasible and financially and functionally reasonable.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct general or (as appropriate) specific business analyst competencies including process definition and improvement, process flowcharts, requirements definition/analysis, software/system testing, system documentation and team leadership responsibilities
- Design & develop project materials such as requirements documents, design documents, implementation plans, governance plans, and organizational readiness plans.
- Create a detailed business analysis outlining problems, opportunities and solutions for a business or problem
- Manage and execute key programs from ideate through design and implementation, with the ability to track and measure key performance measures and impact
- Work closely with stakeholders and team members to understand and support project delivery expectations. Clear and professional written and oral communications is critical.
- Lead various business meetings and discussions with key stakeholders, including requirements and architecture reviews, and delivering technical and business impact presentations
- Manage timelines for multiple projects, simultaneously, and identify delays / roadblocks and escalate as appropriate to leadership for support
- Serve as a UI/UX leader helping to ensure the technology created provides both functional and appealing features that address our clients’ needs, meet our internal users’ requirements and help us grow our customer base.
Preferred Qualifications / Requirements:
- 7+ years related experience managing consulting projects
- Excellent oral & written communication skills and attentive listener
- Detail-oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy and consistency
- Extensive experience in roles combining business analysis/intelligence, research, and strategy
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and sharp business judgment
- Enthusiastic about data wrangling and delving into new datasets; data-curious, interested in telling the story behind the data
- Open to new ideas and respectful of differing opinions/perspectives
- Addresses difficult problems head-on and challenges the status quo
- Can adapt to change and is open to learning new skills
- Self-motivated and can work independently in a fast-paced changing environment
- Highly collaborative and can work cross-functionally, while cultivating relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
