The Role

As a COO/CAO for our Production Services team, you will initiate, define, and lead the most complex projects of strategic importance to the business, across multiple domain areas: budgeting, business planning, risk identification and mitigation, regulatory compliance, communications, policy development, change management and process improvement. This role works closely with Senior Management, including C-Suite executives, to understand their needs, develop and implement appropriate guidance, direction, and communication in place of the executive. The COO/CAO advises leaders on business-led programs such as people-related management, global location strategy, meeting management, etc. This individual will have the responsibility of overseeing project implementations and provides regular feedback to senior leaders. In addition, the individual will proactively identify project roadblocks or unprecedented, complex problems and develops solutions all the way through to implementation. The COO/CAO will lead across the business and/or functional management team to implement and enforce policies, standards, and processes that require an advanced knowledge of key business or function roles and organizational design.

Responsibilities:

  • Counsel to senior management team
  • Assist in facilitating effective decision making
  • Drive the execution of the TSG Business Partners vision towards establishing a high performance organization including Diversity, Inclusion and Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives
  • In-depth understanding of business and organizational dynamics to foster collaboration and effectively negotiate/decision on behalf of leadership
  • Remain aware of contemporary concepts in IT strategy and management
  • Define analytical frameworks for visioning and assessing strategic options
  • Ideation and coordination of strategic initiatives
  • Design, perform and oversee a wide range of larger scale strategic initiatives, directing and formulating recommendations and obtaining stakeholder buy-in.
  • Provide solutions to complex business problems where in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives is required.
  • Utilize comprehensive knowledge of multiple areas within technology to achieve organizational objectives. Guides and consults with teams during technical planning process.

  • Develop robust roadmap and strategy for presentation to TSG EC and key stakeholders

  • Manage talent requisition process
  • Assist with delivery and facilitation of promotions, compensation and performance management processes
  • Own the coordination with Global Talent and Development to address capability gaps and learning needs
  • Drive and maintain a strong organizational culture that will continue to attract and sustain top-tier talent.
  • Advise in offshore talent management, recruitment and retention efforts
  • Establish improved interaction model between off-shore team and US teams
  • Budgetary management and administrative activities
  • Assist with delivery and management of budget
  • Oversee budgetary requirements including annual planning and major expenditure request process
  • Identify discretionary ways to lower expenses while maintaining or exceeding the quality expectations
  • Manage other administrative activities including vendor management (contract, invoicing, control/compliance, etc.)
  • Provide oversight for risk management including regulatory / compliance topics
  • Provide direct oversight to ensure no outstanding or overdue audit points
  • Develop and manage balanced scorecard (financial, risk, people, projects, operational risk)
  • Communications
  • Conceptualize and coordinate consistent and transparent communications and presentations to a wide variety of stakeholders, both internal and external to the organization, including executive officers, oversight functions, and regulators
  • Develop and execute communications, story lines, and presentations for TSG colleagues, including town halls and leadership off-sites, providing linkage between everyday work and business objectives
  • Own and/or streamline other recurring reporting/tracking responsibilities to enable the organization to be up-to-date on latest industry developments, and improve productivity and efficiency

Sr.Group Manager, Administration->> Manages multiple teams responsible a wide range of administrative, operational, and/or financial initiatives in support of the CIO. Supports the LOB executives on many issues. Manages staff planning, and has key input into recruiting, retention, salary administration, and termination. Oversees and manages the administrative, operational and/or financial affairs of a department within IT. Directs human resources activities in IT including staff planning, recruiting, retention, salary administration and terminations.Oversees compliance activities across various areas of IT. Contributes to formulating, recommending, and reviewing policies and procedures. Recruits, directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team. Conducts and manages financial, market, and organizational research as needed to help define functional goals and opportunities. Manages multiple administration teams. Contributes to the achievement of multiple teams’ objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience required, MBA preferred 12+ years of experience in broad-based information technology with related supervisory, management and administration experience required, at least 7 years of systems management and cost-effective budgetary responsibility experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
