This role spans many disciplines including operational finance, data analytics, vendor management and cross-functional leadership. The ideal candidate should have demonstrated success in analyzing financial status by collecting, monitoring and studying data and developing a quantitative dashboard that drives business results and recommendations.

Responsibilities:
  • Identifies financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
  • Guides cost analysis process by providing trends and forecasts
  • Reconciles transactions by comparing and analyzing data
  • Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses
  • Manages large data set and understands data analysis tools
  • Manages and presents data in ways that help drive better business decisions
  • Execute daily tasks that support the operational financial framework of our travel business
  • Analyze financial, redemption, inventory, and other data and produce meaningful reporting
  • Maintain financial and process controls around travel redemption activity
Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience as a data analyst, operational finance or in related a field

  • Ability to analyze data and assess potential risks

  • Ability to perform statistical and competitive analysis

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional internal and external teams

  • Problem solver with project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities

  • Analytical thinker with ability to interpret results and site metrics to drive change

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Unafraid to be thrown into new projects that will stretch your skills

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required

  • Travel industry experience a plus

  • Experience working within an Agile framework a plus
