Amazon is seeking an experienced candidate to identify, create, develop and integrate innovative solutions and programs that lead to improvements in our transportation network.This position will contribute to the development and execution of initiatives designed to improve Air’s fuel supply network and optimize fuel delivery on a large scale. The successful candidate will have strong quantitative skills and is comfortable facilitating ideation and working from concept through to execution.

  • Excellent problem-solving, task prioritization, follow-up, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment

  • An interest in energy and fuel

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Model, evaluate and implement opportunities in a complex transportation network
  • Map, document and recommend process improvements
  • Assist in communications with internal and external vendors and suppliers to understand business requirements
  • Determine efficient fuel delivery systems and hubs
  • Research and implement cost reduction opportunities
  • Implement processes for cost audit and vendor invoice consistency

  • Experience in modeling and analyzing complex logistics networks
  • Fuel supply chain
  • Experience communicating across all levels of management, peers, and clients
  • Experience using route and network arbitrage optimization tools Experience in operation research model design
  • Advanced degree in Oil and Gas
  • Analyst/Project Management experience
