How you’ll make a difference?
Under the guidance and development of the President of Global Spine, and in accordance with corporate directives, is responsible for directing external facing efforts supporting the M6 artificial cervical disc market expansion with a focus on worldwide product placement strategies. This position will provide oversight to the overall strategic planning for the M6 by formulating growth plans, reviewing strategic alternatives, market research and analysis, segmentation, public relations, branding, trade-shows, customer value and pricing, product life cycle management, customer retention, competitive analysis, in-country reimbursement, new product ideas and business cases.

- In collaboration with the Global Spine marketing department, responsible for M6 disc product branding and positioning, pricing, reimbursement, KOL development, surgeon education, sales education, clinical support, public relations, and patient education.
- Lead the development of the overall deployment strategies and plans to meet the established goals and targets, while optimizing resources across sales and marketing organizations.
- Responsible for sales projections and setting objectives. Set priorities, develop strategies and allocate appropriate resources to achieve objectives.
- In partnership with the Global Spine Medical Education team, develop the strategy and lead the delivery of best in class spine surgeon training and education for the M6 disc.
- Ensure that the company is aware of and is responsible to competitive activities.
- Play a primary role in setting policy and direction of all product, promotion, pricing and distribution issues for the M6 disc.
- Assess problems and potential growth areas. Conceptualize new opportunities and make recommendations regarding corporate direction.
- Identify strategic opportunities and aid in or develop corporate strategic plans.
- Collaborate with the Global Spine Marketing department to set the US marketing framework for the M6. Responsible for identifying the metrics for success of marketing programs, measuring against those metrics and adjusting strategy and tactics as needed to meet overall corporate objectives. Set policy and direction of all product, promotion, pricing and distribution issues.
- Help define and manage business development to enter into and enhance joint marketing relationships and partnership agreements as necessary.

- 10+ years of leadership experience in marketing strategy and operations and/or general management, with a strong track record of initiating change and effectively managing people and complex programs.
- Require in depth knowledge and understanding of the global medical marketplace and its dynamics.
- Identify and resolve competitive activities is vital as is generating challenges for our competitors, such as new product entries, promotional programs to stimulate sales and the recognition of unique market niches.
- Require leadership and management experience, demonstrating the achievement of business results through influence, executive presence, strategic thinking, and effective problem solving skills. Proven executive level managerial and planning skills.
- Previous work experience must demonstrate significant achievements in meeting and exceeding marketing objectives including but not limited to increased market share, new product development, new market opportunities, and expanded distribution channels. Must be able to create and analyze reports based on data, trends and forecasts.
- Significant experience working cross-functionally, with a demonstrable understanding of differing market needs and aligning functions or businesses behind common goals.
- A highly customer-centric (both internal and external) and positive customer experience mindset and orientation.
- An aptitude to continuous learning, self-development and organizational change.
- Superior management, leadership, relationship building and organizational skills required.
- Ability to achieve results through influence, executive presence, strategic thinking, and effective problem solving skills.
- Ability to analyze and resolve issues that require consideration from multiple dimensions (operational, financial, risk, and/or human).
- Highly analytical with strong business acumen and passion for problem solving, taking highly complex issues and turning them into simple, structured plans for improvement
