The VP, Marketing will be responsible for creating original marketing strategies that enhance our brand. You will be responsible for lead generation and conversion, communication targeting our existing advisors, events management and related contents, digital marketing strategy and execution, and ultimately assisting Sales to drive key results. Our ideal candidate possesses extraordinary communication and leadership skills, with proven success in traditional and innovative campaigns across the broad spectrum of today’s marketing channels. We are looking for an inspiring leader with strategic, creative and financial acumen as well as a strong business intellect to take our organization to the next level. This leader will be part of the Client Development Group (CDG) Leadership team and will have close collaboration with sales leaders on business outcomes.
Required Skills:
- Experience developing high level marketing and brand strategy that aligns with and furthers AssetMark’s three strategic pillars – Asset Management Excellence, Compelling Technology, and Great Relationship Management.
- A deep understanding of traditional and innovative marketing strategies and a proven track record of creating campaigns and initiatives that will drive revenue growth and new advisor acquisition.
- Proven ability to balance the importance of aligning the organization internally around brand and marketing objectives while also helping partner organizations achieve their business objectives.
- Experience developing a clearly articulated strategy that supports business goals with strong bias to action.
- Define, gain consensus for and implement measurable strategies that will drive revenue and increase awareness
- Develop a marketing plan that reaches target segments quickly and effectively.
- Extensive knowledge of how to effectively develop, maintain, produce and measure marketing and corporate communications materials and channels, including print, email, events public relations and web content.
- Proven ability to develop and execute a marketing system that builds awareness, adoption and retention of a proprietary asset management offerings.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- A hands-on collaborative style is a must!
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree with specialization in Marketing preferred
- Minimum 10-years’ experience in with steadily expanding marketing leadership roles
- Minimum of 10-years’ experience working with financial advisors
- Proven, results-driven leader with the ability to motivate and provide professional development to a high-performing team
- Advanced experience working with a variety of traditional and modern marketing and communications functions
- An understanding of all aspects of print material production
- Proficiency in writing and editing a broad array financial services and leadership messages
- Creative thinker with proven ability to grow brand awareness
