Position Description
Advertised Job Summary
Develops and directs recruitment sourcing strategies, talent identification and employment branding for the University of South Carolina. Oversees the development of related action plans, continuous improvement efforts, and best practices to support the current and future recruitment needs of the organization. This position reports to the AVP for Human Resources and serves on the leadership/management team for the Division of Human Resources, which sets the priorities and direction of the division.
Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)
A Master’s degree in human resources and 5 years of experience in human resources management programs or a bachelor’s degree and 7 years of human resources management programs experience. Supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Management level recruitment experience. Experience in a higher education human resources or experience with recruiting higher education jobs.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Extensive knowledge of federal and state employment laws. Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to handle high volume of work and prioritize.
