Who we seek
Prudential’s Customer Office is seeking an experienced site merchandising project manager with a working understanding of website marketing tactics, direct response, data-driven optimization, account/project management, A/B testing and the agile scrum framework. As Prudential pivots from its legacy focus on enterprise customers to direct to consumer marketing of products and services, we are seeking to overhaul Prudential’s digital experience to be more welcoming and engaging for our target prospects and customers.
Our team works across all disciplines to create and test digital experiences to drive online conversions, deepen prospect and customer engagement and further the Prudential brand. The Site Merchandising Project Manager role will be instrumental in driving the oversight and execution of advertising on Prudential’s primary web properties – Prudential.com, the MyPru authenticated website and Prudential’s mobile app. Role will serve as the day-to-day touchpoint for site and app merchandising, support the Customer Engagement COE in guiding best practices and ensure successful implementation of testing, targeting and integrated marketing campaigns. The right person will be able to objectively balance multiple campaigns competing for priority.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with manager to develop approaches to optimizing interstitials, banner ads and other merchandising placements across Prudential.com, MyPru authenticated website and the Mobile App.
- Partner with marketing ops, content, UX, and reporting/analytics to execute and optimize site marketing.
- Manage a detailed, holistic site marketing calendar across all Customer Office campaigns, including associated performance forecasts and test outcomes.
- Assist in website marketing projects through entire lifecycle – strategy, content/UX, analytics, SEO, technology and stakeholders.
- Carefully document takeaways from stakeholder meetings, user testing, business requirements and work through resolution of design, technology or marketing challenges.
- 3-5 years proven digital marketing experience, ideally for a major transactional/ecommerce or financial services site.
- Innovative, curious thinker with a demonstrated self-starter ability to get the job done.
- Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent collaboration skills across a highly matrixed organization, and ability to influence others.
- Experience in audience segmentation and targeting.
- Experience in data-driven optimization for marketing campaigns.
- Experience in site marketing best practices.
- Experience in Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with A/B testing methodology and targeted marketing experiences.
- Familiarity with Maxymiser, Optimizely or similar A/B and Multi-variant testing platforms
- Familiarity with WCM, Drupal or similar content management systems.
- Familiarity with analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics or similar reporting platforms.
- Familiarity with tracking tools like JIRA & Workfront.
- Familiarity with using agile methodologies to deliver products and technologies.
- Experience in financial services; any experience with marketing in Insurance, Wealth Management, Retirement or Banking verticals or in other highly-regulated industries (pharma, healthcare etc.).
