Summary:
Comcast NBCUniversal LIFT Labs is looking for a new team member who is passionate about developing programs to help startup founders grow and scale their businesses. This person will have built and expanded startup programming across a number of locations and will have experience identifying partners and managing those relationships. They will work with the Senior Director to execute on a programming and national strategy designed to achieve LIFT Labs’ startup recruitment, employee engagement, and branding goals. They will be passionate about entrepreneurship, building communities, and creating world-class experiences for LIFT Labs’ global network of startup founders.
This position reports to the Senior Director, Comcast NBCUniversal LIFT Labs and is based in Philadelphia.
Summary:
- Partners with the Senior Director to create compelling startup programming, including recruiting world-class speakers to LIFT Labs PHL; creating workshops for founders to leverage the expertise of executives within Comcast NBCUniversal; and working with partners to bring innovative and interesting content to LIFT Labs PHL;
- Develops relationships with national and local programming partners to create meaningful events both within the LIFT Labs PHL space, on-the-road, and for partners;
- Identifies potential corporate partners, develops partnerships, and manages execution of deliverables;
- Responsible for major PHL partnerships including Philly Tech Week, Amplify Philly, Tech Tour, Philly Startup Leaders;
- Creates opportunities for Comcast NBCUniversal employees to mentor startup founders year-round, serve as subject matter experts on panels, interview speakers and lead workshops;
- Works with the Marketing and Communications team to create and disseminate content for LIFT Labs’ global network of startup founders;
- Supports the Senior Director on programming for the Comcast NBCUniversal LIFT Labs Accelerator, powered by Techstars, where necessary;
- Works with the Coordinator to produce high quality events at LIFT Labs PHL and an excellent, consistent speaker and visitor experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent;
- 7-11 years related experience in developing and scaling startup programming;
- Experience managing partnerships with national organizations and corporations;
- Demonstrated passion for entrepreneurship;
- Creativity and experience with creating visually compelling presentations and materials;
- Experience working with corporate executives and high-profile external speakers;
- Proven background of leadership and project management;
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate, build, and maintain strong working relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds and perspectives;
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
