Sona Homes is seeking a qualified candidate to join our Stafford and Culpeper, VA team as a Sales Manager. New home builder experience is required, but also enthusiasm, a positive attitude and a strong work ethic! Weekend work is mandatory.

About Us:

Sona Homes is a family owned and operated General Contracting firm based in Stafford, VA. Founded by two cousins with a background in commercial contracting, Sona Homes has built over 800 new homes across Northern and Central Virginia since 1989. The owners chose to name the company after their grandmother, to be guided in business by the values their family had instilled in them, and to signify that their customers and partners are also a part of their family.

Job Requirements:

  • Mandatory – New Home Sales Experience
  • Mandatory – Weekends & some holidays
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), WordPress knowledge helpful
  • Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational and listening skills
  • Creative problem-solving abilities
  • Negotiation, prospecting, marketing and communication skills
  • Ability to resolve customer service issues diplomatically
  • Proactive follow up with prospective customers
  • Capability and desire to produce and implement marketing strategies
  • A high level of enthusiasm, energy and integrity
  • Self-motivated with a team-player attitude
  • Skills to prioritize and multi-task while maintaining a sense of urgency and attention to detail

Job Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Enthusiastically and professionally meeting with prospective customers
  • Prospecting, Marketing & Promoting new business
  • Maintaining various tracking and scheduling lists and performing clerical tasks
  • Passing along potential customers to our Preferred Lender for financing qualification
  • Qualifying prospects by determining their home buying needs
  • Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Following up with prospects and customers throughout the sale process
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with the Realtor community
  • Working & communicating effectively with customers, team-members and owners
  • Understanding the loan process

Compensation:

  • Salary and Commission based on experience
