The YMCA of Greater Richmond, is seeking an energetic, motivated team player to provide leadership and direction to branch teen staff and programs.

DUTIES

The Regional Director will develop and oversee implementation of teen programs, to include: Leaders Club, Y Achievers, Youth in Government, CIT and Pursuit. The Regional Director will also provide leadership to the Swift Creek Family Y Branch and Branch Teen Directors, guiding their professional development through trainings and meetings, establishing best program practices, and providing ongoing coaching and mentoring. Additional responsibilities include data collection, maintenance of accurate records, and oversight of surveys and reports. Critical to the role is the ability to build meaningful relationships with program participants, families and staff. Must be able to facilitate and maintain positive and effective communication with all stakeholders. The Regional Director leads in the development and management of the teen budget including timely and accurate forecasting and analysis. May also represent the Y in city, state and nationwide activities related to teen programs.

QUALIFICATIONS

A college degree in a related field is required and least two years of experience with teen programming. Bilingual (English/Spanish speaking) applicants preferred. Experience leading and managing staff is desired, as well as strong computer and interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask. Applicants must be able to work a varied schedule, with frequent evening and weekend work.
