    JOB SUMMARY:

    The Regional Operations Manager will be responsible for executing the regions production metrics, development, and management of a team of Site Operation Managers and maintaining positive communications with customers. Compensation is commiserate with experience in addition to possible bonus.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    Oversee production numbers in their assigned offices (15%)

    • Review backlog drill down report
    • Review production planning report
    • Review entered/scheduled/invoiced reports
    • Monitor KPIs for assigned offices and address with Production Manager any exceptions

    Ensure that offices are dispatching and resulting in a timely manner (5%)

    • Review dispatch report
    • Review scheduled jobs on the whiteboard for the status of a job

    Manage capacity in their assigned offices (5%)

    • Review installer pending reports
    • Review installer capacities at each office visit
    • Make VP of Operations aware of any additional recruiting resources needed

    Convey and hold Production Managers accountable for information contained in Weekly Production Focus Sheets (10%)

    • Review Weekly Production Focus Sheet each Monday
    • Convey all information on Weekly Production Focus Sheet to Production Managers on weekly PM call
    • Follow-up with Production Managers for any tasks not completed

    Hold PMs accountable for office aging report (10%)

    • Review aging report 3-4 times per week for each office
    • Identify issues and communicate these to PMs

    Monitor customer communication and care notes in the CRM (10%)

    • Complete random spot checks on notes in orders
    • Review customer care issues to ensure timely follow-up and completion

    Build relationships with regional Home Depot leadership (15%)

    • Offer to meet with DSMs and RSMs to give updates
    • Participate in Home Depot store events
    • Proactively communicate with DSMs and RSMs when a customer issue arises

    Train, coach, and mentor Production Managers (20%)

    • Assist PMs when working through a difficult customer care issue
    • Train PMs on management skills as learned through quarterly RM training
    • Use examples from their office to teach proper use of the CRM

    Audit F&I and Pad inventory in assigned offices (5%)

    • Count all pad when visiting a local office
    • Audit at least 3 rolls of F&I carpet when visiting an office

    Audit safety of offices, warehouses, and job sites for assigned offices (5%)

    • Using the Regulatory Compliance Teams most recent safety audit, walk the warehouse and office to ensure all concerns have been addressed
    • Bring any new safety concerns to the attention of the PM and if necessary the Regulatory Compliance Team

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
    • Must be willing to submit to a background check.
    • Must be able to submit proof of employment eligibility.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • 5+ years proven working experience in a supervisory role.
    • Flooring experience highly preferred.
    • 4-year degree preferred but not required.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND COMPETENCIES

    • Strong computer skills a must.
    • Strong leadership, written, verbal, organization, analytical, motivational, customer service and critical thinking skills.
    • Ability to work independently and with teams.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Willingness to work 45+ hours, if necessary during peak performance times and/or special project needs.
