Education and Licenses
- Associates Degree preferred or relevant experience
- Valid Driver’s License and registered vehicle
- IRWA, AAPL, or other industry related license or certification preferred
Experience and Responsibilities
- Department of Transportation Experience Required
- Sr Agent or Project Management Experience Required
- Demonstrate knowledge of state regulations
- Understanding of right-of-way plans and engineered drawings/construction drawings
- Understanding of legal descriptions and contract language
- Effective writing skills for responses to claimant and client
- Experience with project management software
- Secure permission to enter properties from landowners and tenants if needed
- While maintaining the ROW price policy, negotiate for ROW options, easements, fee interest, and curative documents as directed by the ROW Supervisor or as required by project documents and the acquisition policy. Assist in the development of a construction line from the conditions and/or restrictions placed on the ROW by the landowner and/or tenant.
- Maintain a detailed diary containing the facts of each contact for every property owner and tenant on a project and prepare a detailed weekly activity report.
- Maintain a detailed log of all payments
- Experience of negotiating damage settlements as required
- Support all construction activities as required

QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in Department of Transportation Right of Way. Candidates must have a strong working knowledge of state infrastructure right-of-way procedures and eminent domain.
