Job Summary

Project Manager
Lakarya â Winston Salem, NC
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. This individual will liaise with Development, Quality Assurance and end users on the functional requirements definition, design, implementation and maintenance of software systems and will often manage complex projects that require input from cross functions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Skills:
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Strong planning, organizational and leadership skills
- Must have excellent communication skills â verbal and written with business partners, teams and all levels of management
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to make effective presentations
- Proficiency with project managements tools like Primavera/ MS Project/ Clarity, etc..
- Knowledge of Project and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Ability to identify system impact for small and large-scale initiatives
- Independent follow-through ability (attention to detail, monitoring and controlling)
- Strong meeting facilitation and negotiation skills
- Experience with complex integration and conversion project experience including QA lifecycle, implementation and post-prod support
- Must have experience on large-scale, enterprise wide/global projects
Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead the planning and implementation of project
- Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
- Define project tasks and resource requirements
- Develop full scale project plans
- Manage project budget
- Manage project resource allocation
- Plan and schedule project timelines
- Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
- Provide direction and support to project team
- Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
- Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
- Project evaluations and assessment of results
- Elevate risks to meet product launches and secure senior management approval to move forward
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential challenges, and devise contingency plans
- Have a thorough understanding of the process and exhibit flexibility and creativity to fine tune timelines to project needs
- Lead global cross-functional team meetings and conduct timely follow-ups to track project deliverables from team
- Set and continually manage project expectations and roles throughout project life cycle
- Be the SME for the junior project managers in project management methodologies and processes
- Help identify areas for process improvement and implement new processes on behalf of PMO
Required Experience and Qualifications
- BE/ B.Tech in Computer Science or related field
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification
- AGILE/ SAFE-Agile, CSM Certification
- Experience working within an established Program Office environment
- Business Analysis or Development or Project Management experience in Application Development with Retail, Supply Chain Management and/or Finance domains
