We are currently seeking a Project Manager: Qualified candidate will provide wide range of warehousing support for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Facilities Management and Services Division (FMSD), for its Headquarters facilities in the Washington, DC.
DUTIES:
The Project Manager (PM) will provide overall on-site manager and coordinator for all tasks, activities, and issues relating to performance of this contract. The PM shall be Action Technologiesâ single point of contact for the Government to communicate, clarify, and resolve contractual performance issues, and to escalate problems/issues relating to the contractor performance. As overall manager of all contractor activities, the PMâs functions include: ensuring the timely delivery of all contract deliverables and the prompt resolution of problems/issues associated with the contract performance; motivating staff assigned to the contract to perform in the most effective and efficient manner; and creating and maintaining property records required for all of these activities.
Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience managing/supervising large complex organizations/departments to include 5 years of supervising personnel and overseeing facilities operations, warehouse, receiving, and mail service operations similar in size scope, and complexity to this requirement.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience using electronic messaging media/e-mail, asset management software
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing multiple projects concurrently, directing teams and coordinating with the Government, including experience in event planning, move coordination, and prioritizing daily taskings.
- Knowledgeable with MS Office and Excel. Skill in creating and managing property records using this software, including the ability to save records securely, create PDF documents, and store and manage electronic records, is required
