The Role

Reporting to the Head of People Operations, you’ll help make the ButcherBox office feel like home and run efficiently! We’re looking for someone to maintain a great work environment and make sure employees have everything they need to do their job.

What You’ll Do

  • Greet and direct all visitors to the office
  • Build and maintain great relationships with building management vendors
  • Coordinate any facility maintenance and improvements made to the office space
  • Oversee upkeep of our Brighton office: manage the overall office – including office supplies, weekly lunches, and cleaning services
  • Receive and sort incoming mail and deliveries, manage outgoing mail
  • Assist with office layout planning and office moves
  • Help with onboarding tasks, including working with managers on seating and working with IT on desk set up
  • Support CEO and CFO by completing administrative tasks such as arranging travel and providing calendar management
  • Support company culture by planning and executing the details of company events, including off-sites
  • Provide support to the People Ops team
  • Other duties as needed

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative/office management role
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with an ability to prioritize
  • Eagerness to learn and grow, suggest changes, and challenge the status quo
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Motivated by being helpful and able to anticipate others’ needs
  • Likes thinking about the details
  • Personable, works and communicates easily with others
