We have an immediate opening in our Oakhurst, CA Office for a Human Resource Manager. The primary function of this position is to manage the employee relations, as well as union procedures. Responsible for administration and keeping diligent, accurate records of all related documentation. Works along with various department projects and functions.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Confers with all other department management to identify human resource needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills
  • Manages recruitment programs to ensure adequate flow of applicants to fill specific job openings
  • Manages workers compensation and union programs. Communicates regularly with employees, workers compensation insurance company, industrial medical clinic, and attorneys as needed, manages all audits
  • Maintains accurate employee personnel files that meet all laws and regulations
  • Audits paperwork for accuracy, I-9, W-4, Drivers License, etc
  • Administers performance review program
  • Handles employee relations issues
  • Collaborates with management on creation of company policies and procedures
  • Travel as required
  • Provide training as required on various topics
  • Miscellaneous projects as needed

Experience/Qualifications/Education:

  • Minimum of 4 years human resources experience
  • Knowledge of state and federal laws, and union agreements regarding employment and general personnel practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong project management skills
  • Participate in continuous training and development programs
