We are looking for an experienced Program and Portfolio leader to refine and drive the planning and execution processes that influence the way we build and deliver software at global scale. You and your team are responsible for building the plan that enables engineering to deliver against the company’s product roadmaps. You will also set the tone, standards, mechanisms and processes for how the product and technology organization works. This global team serves two primary functions within the organization: Technical Program Management and Portfolio Management.

The Technical Program Management team drives all aspects of key technical projects within the technology organization and serves as the crucial interface between the Product and Technology teams and the rest of the company. This team has a good understanding of overall system architecture and helps to drive new products and features via the development process.

The Portfolio Management function is responsible for ensuring that we are investing in the right areas for the overall business. You will provide a top-down view of where resources are invested and ensure discipline and follow through across the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Streamline processes, simplify execution, manage objectives and key results (OKRs), release on time, bring tooling and efficiencies and help teams in execution.
• Partner closely with Engineering Directors, Product Managers and leadership to ensure Technical Program Management alignment with engineer and product priorities.
• Lead the prioritization and trade-off processes that balance developer experience, customer experience, and time to market.
• Lead internal planning and governance processes to ensure transparency, effective communication and adherence to good decision-making principles
• Establish business processes, policies, and metrics and defines indicators for success.
• Monitor the portfolio to ensure communication on the project/program strategy, status, critical path activities, risks and mitigation strategies are identified early and communicated effectively to senior management
• Lead improvements to the cross-portfolio reporting with the cross functional partners. Ensures all programs have timelines and project teams have clear goals, objectives and milestones consistent with company objectives and goals
• Interact with senior leadership and major partners to refine the strategic plans and objectives for resource planning

Basic qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field
• 10+ years of Program and Portfolio Management experience in a related industry, including hands-on management of large, cross-functional software efforts
• Influence leadership in a complex environment
• Major programs deployment
• Organizational change leadership and experience with change management practices
