Coordinates (in partnership with system-based Physician Relations/Sales, Marketing, Digital Communication and Public Relations Officer) a multi-channel (consumer marketing, digital, customer relationship management (CRM) marketing and sales) efforts approach to achieve growth objectives. Coordinates with AVP of Physician Relations/Sales develop relationships with Physicians resulting in world-class physician relationships and procedural growth. Leadership – Maintains oversight of assigned Directors/Operations and their areas. Provides direction and management to direct reports. Handles employee relations and staff development for direct reports. Maintains oversight of assigned Directors/Operations and their areas. Finance – Manages functional finances, including budgeting and control of salary, non-salary, and business expenses related to the regional budget. The Growth Officer/Director Cancer Services is responsible for growing strategic volumes around prioritized economic drivers, developing new business ventures and managing existing projects under the leadership of Inova Health System’s Senior Vice President, Business Development and the Operating Unit (Hospital) Administrator. The Growth Officer/Director Cancer Services will is responsible for leading and coordinating growth and business development initiatives including market development, hospital-based and ambulatory growth, cancer services, system service line support/integrating, and, coordinator these initiatives with marketing and public relations. The Growth Officer will prioritize growth opportunities and develop responsive business plans and strategies to accomplish organizational growth goals. Participates in partnership with System/OU leaders, medical staff and service line areas for the planning and implementation of the strategic operational goals and new business development. Collaborates with Strategic Planning, Hospital CEOs, Service Line Leaders and internal stakeholders to develop strategies, garner approval and ensure alignment for strategic growth priorities and investments needed to facilitate service line, hospital and system growth.
