The team

Our Sales & Business Development teams collaborate with customers and partners across the globe to help them leverage the DocuSign Agreement Cloud to transform the entire system of agreement process—from preparing to signing, acting on, and managing contracts and other types of agreements. Our team partners with some of the largest most innovative companies in the world in dozens of industries to bring the power of DocuSign to more customers. This position

The DocuSign Group Vice President Sales, Growth Markets will be responsible for building, strengthening and leading high-performance growth through enterprise, SME and channel partners sales across the Japan, Asia Pacific and Latin American regions. The GVP will also be responsible for ensuring alignment of the Sales organization with the marketing, pre-sales and customer success teams in the region. This is a hands-on role supporting the expansion of the undisputed global leader in agreement cloud space. The role will be simultaneously challenging and well rewarded.

The right candidate will have a strong proven track record of delivering high revenue growth across complex SaaS software solutions to both large enterprise and SME business preferably in the Asia Pacific and/or Latin America regions.

Responsibilities will include continued planning and execution of a business model that delivers against assigned targets. This is a strategic, long-term role to support DocuSign’s continued success and expansion in these regions. The GVP will ensure that DocuSign is adopting the right support, go-to-market model and appropriate branding to drive accelerated recognition and growth in the regions.

This position reports to the Chief Revenue Officer.

Responsibilities

  • Define and determine the overall strategy for growth in the regions, incorporating both current and anticipated future internal and external business challenges.
  • Create a hands-on, actionable approach to meeting company defined margins, booking targets and growth goals.
  • Serve as a company spokesperson and chief evangelist throughout the regions.
  • Select, motivate, and work closely with partners to ensure alignment and to leverage resources and marketing where appropriate to drive business goals.
  • Provide an environment for skills development and personal growth for DocuSign employees in the regions.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to create excitement in the sales organization.
  • Support the recruiting and retention of great people through clear communication, accountability and a team commitment of success.

Basic Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent in relevant sales experience.
  • 10+ years of delivering high revenue growth in an enterprise software sales environment.
  • 10+ years of general management experience and P&L responsibility for enterprise software companies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to demonstrate executive level experience in leading sales growth through a period of rapid growth in a SaaS Software company.
  • Strong understanding of end-user requirements and the ability to directly sell enterprise solutions into the C-Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills with internal and external customers at all levels and the ability to translate complex issues into easily understood terms.
  • Well-developed people management skills, combined with significant passion, drive, and ambition.
  • Strategic thinker able to work with ambiguity and create evolving strategy to meet anticipated near and long-term issues.
  • 8+ years’ experience leading multiple sales leaders and their teams in the LATAM and/or Asia Pacific Regions
  • Regional language skills preferred.
