General Manager
We are looking for an experienced growth-focused General Manager to grow in a long term career position. The main function of this position is to increase the profitability of this well-respected local business, with bonuses for reaching specific targets.
The right candidate will have a knack for organization, a mind for creating and improving systems, and an ability to work well with department heads and staff to foster a positive and productive atmosphere.
Duties:
- Effectively manage and motivate employees in a small husband-wife business. We love to have fun, and we love to make money!
- Oversee day to day operations of administrative and field staff.
- Coordinate with department heads to hire and manage employees.
- Coordinate with off- site service providers and vendors as needed.
- Supervise and coach managers to establish and reach department goals while maximizing employee productivity.
Marketing
- Oversee the implementation of effective online, print, and office marketing strategies to reach department and company goals.
Human Resources
- Support department heads in hiring new employees.
- Conduct regular employee reviews.
Qualifications:
Required
- Proven track record in business growth in a management position.
- Ability to work within a small family business environment.
- Effective and organized leader.
- Dynamic and flexible.
- Sense of Humor and ability to adapt in a fast-changing small business environment.
Preferred
- Knowledge of Entrepreneurial Operating System
Pay: Base pay, with opportunities for quarterly bonus based on company financial growth targets
