Dell Technologies is seeking an Executive and Internal Communications Lead to support and execute the external/internal communications programs for Products and Operations Chief Technology Officer organization across the Infrastructure Solutions Group and the Client Solutions Group. This is a global communications role that partners closely with the Product & Operations Chief Technology Officer communications lead to drive the communications strategies, brand reputation programs, executive visibility and speakerships, team member communications and external thought leadership messaging and platforms.

This role will also partner closely with the Products & Operations PR and AR teams for media and analyst relations opportunities and will report to the director of External and Internal Communications for Product & Operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with organizations across the company to drive consistency in message and process for the Chief Technology Officer platform and priority initiatives
  • Support Executive Communications for the Infrastructure Solutions Group Chief Technology Officer and Client Solution Group Chief Technology Officer including:

    • Create internal (team member) and external (PR/AR/Social/Digital) programs in support of Dell’s President and Chief Technology Officer of Client Solutions Group, focusing on key customer thought leadership platforms, internal imperatives including the Client Solutions Group strategy and team member communications, cross-business initiatives and product/solutions innovation awareness opportunities
    • Support development of priority narratives/messaging to ensure effective internal/external storytelling
    • Partner with communications colleagues to proactively communicate relevant narrative angles to the press and analyst communities
    • Work with Corporate Communications and other communications functions as necessary to develop proactive and reactive communications plans, including internal/external speaking points and media statements
    • Provide communications support, as needed, for our Chief Technology Officer’s at company and industry events
    • Clearly communicate Dell Technologies’ innovation competitive positioning and value propositions to internal and external audiences (with support of PR, AR and marketing)
    • Determine areas of Chief Technology Officer’s integration with other Business Units/campaigns/launches and integrate messaging as appropriate
  • Work with the Product & Operations Chief Technology Officers communication lead to amplify cross-Chief Technology Officer narratives and ensure message consistency

Requirements:

  • Experience working with all levels of executives
  • Able to partner with senior business leaders, communications colleagues and outside agencies to drive and enhance business results across highly-matrixed organizations
  • Proven success as a communications strategist who has developed and executed effective communications plans to advance business goals
  • Knowledge in internal and external communications, executive communications, public relations, change management and event management
  • Solid skills in building relationships, interacting, and garnering credibility at all levels of a company, including with senior management
  • Experience partnering with business operations, PR and HR colleagues to drive business results, as well as change management needs
  • Solid experience identifying and measuring communications metrics
  • Prior experience in B2B and technology / innovation communications
  • Proactive execution, speed, agility and the ability to influence and lead change
  • Robust skills in writing, editing, messaging, speech-writing and presentation development, project management and problem solving
  • Resourceful, strategic, creative and with proven expertise in engaging internal and external audiences
  • Minimum of 7 years of technology-related communications experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Communications or related field preferred
