JOB SUMMARY

Serves as a global leader in Site and Patient Access business unit, by delivering and maintaining the Site and Patient Access objectives in their assigned areas of responsibility and contributing to the overall long term vision, strategy and financial success of the business unit. Accountable for the delivery and performance of a sector or a department of the site and patient access business unit.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accountable for financial management and delivery for their assigned area of responsibility

  • Supports Site and Patient Access Senior Leadership in setting and delivery of BU objectives. Directs & controls the objectives and activities within their assigned area of responsibility

  • Drives Site and Patient Access BU level initiatives across the BU by working with internal and external stakeholders

  • Performs strategic operational level planning including development and efficient allocation of resources and budget within functional group and/or Business Unit

  • Leads the development of process improvement strategies for internal and external focus

  • Collaborates with Alliance Management and Business Development, as Site and Patient Access champion, to support significant and strategic business opportunities, including assistance with marketing presentations

  • Responsible for results of analysis, interpretation and reporting of site related performance metrics in their assigned area or region to ensure requirements, utilization goals and profitable results

  • Strong leadership skills; ability to teach/mentor team members. Ability to coach employees to reach performance objectives. Ability to recognize and take appropriate action when employee performance is not acceptable

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS (please indicate if ‘preferred’)

  • Graduate degree preferred
  • Extensive experience in global clinical trial delivery including but not limited to applicable regulations, drug development, & clinical project management
  • Managing teams of senior clinical research employees up to the director level locally and globally.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, database applications), email, and internet.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and team-oriented skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, communication and time management skills
  • Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to be flexible, adapt to change, as well as work as part of a team in a matrix environment under close
  • Must be flexible around travel and work hours if a business need should arise. Travel minimum of 25%.
