The Director of Operations for Men’s Lacrosse will assist the Head Coach and members of the coaching staff in coordinating the day-to-day operations of the men’s lacrosse program along with fundraising efforts. Duties and responsibilities include: coordinate all aspects of team and recruiting travel, coordinate facility and practice schedules, manage program budget, coordinate campus recruiting visits, assist with the ordering and distribution of equipment, assist with the implementation of a mentoring program, execute a social media presence in coordination with the Media Relations Office, manage a portfolio for Men’s Lacrosse and donors, work with the Development staff liaison to execute a strategic fundraising campaign with goals and metrics aimed at increasing philanthropic support for men’s lacrosse, coordinate alumni/donor events, and perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required. Excellent communication and strong computer skills required.
Preferences:
Experience with the sport of lacrosse or athletics as a lacrosse player and/or coach preferred. Proficiency in social media applications and a variety of software applications preferred.
