Are you a PMI Agile Certified Practitioner? Do you have a rich project management history in the learning & development space? Our client, a learning consulting firm that delivers ROI-focused strategic consulting, learning, and performance solutions enabled by learning technologies, is seeking a Learning Project Manager to work off-site on a part-time basis to begin with.
You Will:
- Be responsible for leading cross-functional project teams through the L&D life-cycle to deliver eLearning, ILT, VILT, and other learning solutions
- Lead teams consisting of internal peer resources, vendors, third-party experts, stakeholders, and sponsors
- Be responsible for customer/client experience, project budget, schedule, and quality outcomes
- Project lead multiple L&D projects of various scope and scale
- Achieve learning deliverable and project performance goals and outcomes
- Partner/collaborate with internal Learning Solutions Architects, instructional designers/developers, external vendors, and clients to deliver learning solutions
- Manage project budget, resources, schedule/milestones, and risks in Kimble
- Contribute to PMO continuous improvement efforts and project management best practices
- Provide weekly internal and other stakeholder reports
You Have:
- 5+ years of experience in project managementâbudget/scope/schedule/risk/quality
- Knowledge of instructional design methodologies, eLearning, and classroom training
- 5+ years client/customer service, preferably in an L&D environment
- Experience adopting/applying agile principles and practices to non-technical projects (e.g. Kanban, Sprints, Daily Standups, Retrospectives, and Agile tools)
- The ability to anticipate unexpected situations and potential conflict amongst competing priorities, making determinations, and referring to management for resolution
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, project tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Basecamp, and file-sharing platforms such as ShareFile
- Been certified in PMI-ACP (required)
- Prior experience in Learning and Development for a consulting service business (preferred)
- Prior experience adopting/applying agile principles and practices to non-technical projects (preferred)
- Prior experience in the consulting industry (preferred)
- Salesforce/Kimble knowledge (preferred)
- Knowledge of Trusted Advisor principles (preferred)
Logistics
- Start: ASAP after backgrounds clear (criminal & education)
- Duration: 4 months with the possibility of full-time conversion
- Hours: will start as part-time and ramp up after a couple of months
