Position Description
Position: Corporate Director of Marketing Department: Operations
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer FLSA designation: Exempt

Position Purpose: To promote the Silver Cloud Inns & Hotels brands of hotels, restaurants, banquet venues, and spas across all available offline and online media channels.
Examples of Duties:
- Collaborates with corporate stakeholders (Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Directors of Operations, Director of Food & Beverage) to develop and maintain brand messaging across all media channels.
- Communicates marketing strategies with corporate stakeholders in addition to Directors of Sales, General Managers, Directors of Food & Beverage, and Spa Managers.
- Oversees marketing for the Silver Rewards guest loyalty program.
- Collaborates on the development, design, and updating of brand web sites.
- Develops, coordinates, and supports the companyâs social media exposure.
- Handles public relations and press releases as appropriate to communicate new openings or major events.
- Coordinates trade show events with sales teams to promote the brand.
- Manages graphic design needs and production of printed and digital sales collateral.
- Oversees procurement of logoed promotional items.
- Works with third party marketing agencies as needed to achieve marketing objectives.
- Manages E-marketing campaigns and promotions.
- Prepares annual marketing expense budget.
- Reviews marketing analytics and prepares campaign reporting.
- Handles other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Five or more years of experience in brand marketing.
- Extensive experience with brand marketing through social media channels.
- Experience with WordPress CMS preferred.
- Experience with Google Analytics preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to travel, occasionally on an overnight basis, to all locations throughout Oregon and Washington.
- B.A. degree or equivalent preferred.
