#### **Position Overview** Under the general supervision of the Sr Director of eCommerce, the Director of eCommerce is responsible for leading a team of eCommerce managers and coordinators, as well as completing assigned projects and activities relating to the day-to-day implementation of online/digital and marketing strategies created to drive hotel revenue for a set portfolio of hotels and resorts. **Requirements & Duties** **Leadership** • Responsible for leading overall team direction and to drive continued revenue growth for all hotels under your guidance • Operating as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to digital marketing within specified geographic region/portfolio • Work closely with Marketing and Creative Directors to maintain and develop strategies for success and synergy • Coordinating special projects as needed • Updating and improving the eCommerce signature standards • Ongoing training, development and leadership of eCommerce team • Conduct team performance reviews • Responsible for eCommerce team efforts as a whole and ensuring managers, hotels and stakeholders receive proper support wherever needed • Providing assistance to other members of the team **Website & Maintenance** • General oversite of websites, e-mail campaigns, and implementing website tracking • Maintaining and updating websites as needed, including photos and third-party online listings • Researching and integrating new services, technologies and tools to increase online traffic and revenue • Assist with and work with SEO manager to drive all SEO efforts for specified geographic region/portfolio of hotels • Implementing digital and marketing campaign strategies as they relate to hospitality to drive revenue • Creating/strengthening keyword optimization in online copy and content **Strategy & Analysis** • Take the lead on capturing, reporting and analyzing online statistics for specified geographic region • Working closely with Marketing and eCommerce in establishing and maintaining strategies for online and offline success • Communicating efforts to the field in a regular, timely, easy to follow manner • Coordinating electronic marketing efforts: electronic direct mail, banner ads, PPC, SEM, viral efforts • Assisting with the research and analysis of our portfolios’ current online marketing presence and developing efforts to improve organic reach and drive overall revenue • Assist with growing relationship with franchise partners and using available franchise opportunities to drive revenue **Client Management** • Communicate with key hotel managers on a regular quarterly bases to review performance, new strategies and task list • Develop trusted advisor relationships with hotel managers, ownership, corporate support counterparts, Brand support teams and outside vendors • Assure key deliverables for ecommerce and actions items are met for hotels and corporate staff in timely and responsive manner • Conduct training of hotel staff and corporate team on new eCommerce strategies, tools and tactics • Conducting business reviews to ensure clients are satisfied with their products and services • Generate reporting for portfolio of accounts for owners and stakeholders as needed • Some travel and attending meetings with hotels for pre-opening, rebrand and strategy as needed
