Credit Product Delivery & Strategy
Credit Product Delivery & Strategy is a newly established function within the Wholesale Treasury & Digital Solutions. The central purpose of the team is to ensure that all elements of Commercial Bank’s lending offering are transparent, optimized, and executed seamlessly under a unified strategy. The team partners with senior management across front office and functional support roles to establish best practices that deliver operational excellence via innovative solutions.

Vice President – Credit Product Delivery & Strategy
The candidate will support the end-to-end delivery across the entire suite of lending products that the CB offers. The primary focus of the role will be to lead the governance framework across front office and functional partners in order to improve coordination and transparency around lending related priorities and deliveries. Additionally, the individual will focus on optimizing the client experience through product simplification, process improvement initiatives as well as enabling our digital capabilities.

The individual will help drive the strategic agenda for the group, to include;
  • Establishing a CB-wide governance forum; set the agenda and track progress on deliverables across stakeholder groups
  • Partnering with technology, digital and transformation teams in an effort to streamline the end-to-end delivery of credit products to Commercial Bank clients
  • Establishing the lending product hierarchy across all sub lines of Commercial Bank business
  • Developing the pricing strategy by analyzing market and internal data; creating pricing standards and ranges based on product segment
  • Partnering with Sales, Finance, Business Management, and Operations to establish key performance indicators and build centralized and consistent management reporting to support segmentation analysis
  • Identifying market trends and influencing solution architecture with product partners
Responsibilities
  • Establish CB-wide credit product catalogue that is consistent across sub-LOBs and client segments
  • Identify gaps to the current offering and operating model, recommend improvements to satisfy clients, enhance experience, maximize internal efficiencies, and enable risk management
  • Understand and assess the current end-to-end processes and key performance indicators across credit products; identify opportunities to leverage best practices
  • Perform client level analysis to identify opportunities to optimize profitability by increasing revenues or reducing capital
  • Continuously refine and simplify the product set, including functionality, pricing, and delivery model


Qualifications
  • 8+ years relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong project management skills; well-organized, structured approach; ability to achieve tight timelines on complex deliverables
  • Ability to manage a small team of self-starters who thrive in a dynamic environment with multiple deliverables across both short and long term delivery dates
  • Demonstrated strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills; experience communicating with all levels of the organization
  • Combination of strong analytical skills and creative problem solving – able to turn analysis into actionable insights and plans
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Prior experience with Credit, Commercial Real Estate and/or Wholesale Payments products preferred, specifically in a program management or process simplification capacity
