Academic Partnership is looking to hire an Enrollment Center Director (Bilingual) to oversee the operations of a new Enrollment Service Center opening in McAllen, TX. The Enrollment Center Director will lead a team of Enrollment Specialists and share information with potential students regarding online degrees offered by Lamar University.
Responsibilities:
  • Tracking and managing key metrics to ensuring the McAllen center achieves or exceeds enrollment budgets for each start date.
  • Lead a local Academic Partnerships Enrollment Services team in our McAllen, TX Service Center.
  • Lead a team of Enrollment Services Representatives tasked with recruiting students in university partner distance learning programs.
  • Daily management of the team will include tracking and managing key metrics.
  • Responsible for ensuring the division achieves or exceeds enrollment budgets for the assigned University Partner for each start date.
  • Provide continuous and timely training, coaching and feedback to ensure student inquiries are contacted effectively with high quality communications and follow up.
  • Forecast staffing needs, develop team internally to prepare for increased responsibilities and promotional opportunities as well as ensure proper staffing is met with qualified candidates for the Enrollment Services Representative positions.
  • Conduct QA feedback sessions with Enrollment Services Representatives when provided by the Quality Assurance team to ensure quality and consistent feedback and training is given. Creates performance plans as needed. Analyze and act upon enrollment team’s overall performance.
  • Act with integrity and honesty in performing all tasks, including maintaining confidentiality, acting in a diplomatic and respectful/professional manner and being a good ambassador for Academic Partnerships at all times. Exercise good judgment.
  • Ensure the team is compliant in all regards. Must adhere to all school/company policies and procedures, all applicable federal and state regulations, and all accrediting agencies’ standards and requirements. Ability to adhere to all compliance rules and regulations is critical, as is working toward the best interests of the company and the student.
  • Responsible for achieving individual and team goals and objectives.
  • Generate reports and perform analysis as requested in a format that is meaningful.
  • Warmly greets all potential student both via the phone and in person.
  • Monitors center performance daily recruitment efforts via visits, appointments, applications and enrollments.
  • Establishes and documents best practices for potential student interactions.
  • Be a Subject Matter Expert on the program details.
  • Builds relationships with key community and local media leaders.
  • Becomes involved in community organizations and sponsor community events.
  • Manage and set hours of operation, team schedules, and ensure proper coverage during business hours.
  • Helps potential students from initial inquiry through enrollment.
  • Ensures center maintains highest standards of cleanliness and is a positive representative of our partners’ brand.
  • Some travel may be necessary (Dallas, Beaumont)
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s degree strongly preferred.
  • Speaks Spanish fluently.
  • Minimum of 5 years management and Higher Ed Industry management experience strongly preferred.
  • Measurable recruitment and performance management experience.
  • Displays strong analytical, decision making and leadership skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, adaptability and resilience is critical.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills; demonstrated ability to identify issues and work with others to resolve the issue through to the end.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Possesses professional maturity, comfortable working in a matrix environment.Proficient with MSOffice, Excel, Outlook, reporting and CRM systems.
