Mend Services is looking for a dynamic and driven individual to play a key role in a diverse and growing company focused on high-quality, specialized custom work.
JOB SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES
-Work in conjunction with Steel & Millwork Division manager to ensure efficient and successful design and production of custom architectural steelwork, cabinets and millwork
-Develop and facilitate CAD / shop drawings for production and fabrication
-Provide leadership and direction to shop and field employees for day-to-day project operations
-Procure, manage and coordinate materials, supplies and equipment for multiple projects
GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
-Plan, organize and schedule activities to meet objectives
-Support operating policies, procedures and system operations
-Serve as a key resource for project information and resolve problems or questions referred by internal and external sources
-Establish and maintain an active network of professional contacts
-Provide quality control and ensure projects are completed on time and on budget in a professional manner
-Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
-Minimum five (5) years experience in architecture, design, steel fabrication, millwork or cabinetry
-Knowledgable and experienced in CAD design with at least three (3) years experience in AutoCAD or equivalent
-Knowledgable and experienced in cabinet design with at least one (1) year experience in Pro100 cabinet design software of equivalent
-Understanding of construction techniques, means and methods
-Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
-Must be driven and able to work without supervision in a fast-paced environment
