PeopleSoft Supplier Contract Management (SCM) module implementation

Objectives

  • Successful implementation of PeopleSoft Supplier Contract Management (SCM) module

Task Description(s)

  • Co-ordinate with functional SMEs in identifying/validating business requirements
  • Document functional business requirements, conduct a fit-gap analysis, identify alternative approaches/solutions
  • Develop functional specifications, update system configuration parameters as required and work with the technical team in designing and developing customization(s), if needed
  • Lead user training, testing, documentation, and the rollout
  • Provide regular project plan updates to the Client core team and/or to the Project Leadership team
  • Monitor resolution due dates and deliver status updates to core team. Help facilitate resolution of project issues and escalate when necessary.
  • Organize, schedule, coordinate team meetings and workshops. Document minutes and follow up on important actions and decisions
  • Any other task related to implementation of the SCM module

Deliverables

  • SCM functionality demo
  • Requirements vs delivered functionality fit-gap analysis
  • Business Requirements Matrix (BRM)
  • System configuration document
  • Functional specifications for any customization
  • System Integration and User Acceptance test plans
  • Test scenarios and scripts
  • Any other deliverable related to the implementation of SCM module

Schedule& Requirements

  • The selected individual will work at least 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday. Must be available to work extra hours and on weekends if necessary.
  • Strong knowledge of and experience applying project management principles to organize and plan work including identifying deliverables, tasks, milestones, timelines and resources.
  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in implementing PeopleSoft Supply Chain modules especially Purchasing
  • Experience in implementing PeopleSoft 9.2 Supplier Contract Management (SCM) module, related workflow and it’s integrations with PeopleSoft Purchasing
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams, tracking assignments and providing progress reports to the project team and management.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills and experience in analyzing and resolving problems of diverse complexity and scope.
  • Experience using and troubleshooting PeopleSoft SCFM 9.0 or higher, particularly SCM
  • Experience using PeopleSoft query and SQL.
  • Must possess a sense of urgency and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to display diplomacy, timing and persuasion to gain concurrence or cooperation in the face of significant difference of opinion or controversy
  • Ability to deal with competing priorities
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Prior experience facilitating communication between functional and technical staff.
