About this role
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain product marketing materials, client presentations and customized analyses that articulate strategy objectives, characteristics, performance and relevant competitive advantages.
- Produce product attribution and performance analyses, commentaries and competitive positioning for smart beta strategies, including updates to fund shareholder materials
- Define and position iSharesâ competitive advantage; understand smart beta competitive landscape and drivers of growth
- Partner, collaborate and coordinate with the broader BlackRock smart beta/factor investing initiative/leadership where appropriate and relevant.
- Lead conference calls and travel to internal and external client meetings, roadshows and events to help sales close new business.
- Respond to client inquiries to position the iShares Factor ETFs relative to competitors with analytics and talking points.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Travel required (10-20%)
- BA/BS degree required, MBA, MFE, or CFA preferred, Series 7 & 63 required
- 3-6 years industry experience, including strong investment management knowledge and proven client facing capability.
- ETF product familiarity and direct industry experience required
- Smart Beta/Factor investment experience/expertise strongly desired
- Knowledge of investment database systems such as Factset, Bloomberg and Morningstar
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and collaborate vertically/horizontally in a fast paced environment
