Hours: Full time, Richmond, VA
Rate: Based on experience and skills
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct all aspects of International/Field Human Resources, including general HR matters, member care, medical coordination, TCK education, benefits, and the service center
- Oversee and direct all aspects of U.S./Staff Human Resources, including general HR matters, benefits and compensation, recruitment, and staff training.
- Supervise the Prevention and Response Administrator and assist as appropriate in handling field and staff personnel issues.
- Participate as Core Team member in providing senior leadership to the organization, as well as keeping other senior leadership appropriately aware of human resource matters.
- Inform and coordinate with the Personnel (or Human Resources) committee of the Board of Trustees.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or Law
- SHRM certification or willingness to obtain in first year
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar level leadership position
- Prefer minimum 5 years’ international work experience
- Advanced analytical and project management skills
- Intermediate technical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge and experience with Southern Baptist Convention, being able to represent the constituency
- SBC church membership
- Helpful to have experience in investigations, workforce analysis and restructuring.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally 10-25%
