TITLE: VICE PRESIDENT OF CORPORATE PARTNERSHIPS

Candidate will report directly to the Chief Partnership Officer for the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
  • The primary responsibility of the VP of Corporate Partnership Sales is to generate significant incremental sponsorship revenue leading and developing a team of sales professionals to achieve sales goals for the Pro Football Hall of Fame and Johnson Controls Hall of Fame Village
  • Develop fully-integrated, customized sponsorship platforms based on the specific and unique business challenges for each prospect utilizing all of the Hall’s brands and assets to help fulfill client business objectives
  • Identify, prospect, and manage key target categories and draw on a list of contacts developed from past sponsorship experiences and/or develop/cultivate (cold call) new corporate marketing prospects to pursue revenue growth.
  • Continually keep abreast of sports marketing trends and knowledge of the marketplace.
  • Align Corporate Partnerships sales team with the Strategic Plan through regular goal setting, then manage, monitor and communicate results of those efforts.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, to support sales and revenue objectives of organization.
  • Provide timely reporting of sales figures, and contribute to on-going evaluation of and revision to the strategic plan.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong corporate sponsorship sales and sales management background in the area of sports, museums, media, and/or major events (10+ year of experience preferred)
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; advanced degree a plus
  • Experience Selling Digital and Out-of-Home assets a plus.
  • Must be able to develop and maintain corporate relationships, with senior level managers/clients
  • Must have strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Capable and available to work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary
  • Prepare, develop and maintain detailed budgets and other financial reports
  • Write and develop proposals and materials
  • Maintain communicative and collaborative working relationships with other internal departments
  • Create strategic plans for business operations and future business development
  • Establish and manage budgets
  • Give executive oversight of key vendor relations related to supporting and servicing team’s revenue generation, including but not limited to TV, radio, and print partner
  • Self-motivate and motivate others
  • Must possess strong consultative and analytical skills, solid understanding of media and packaging, and the ability to create effective plans and programs based upon experience and consumer data to drive sales.
  • Other projects as deemed necessary

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • A minimum of 8-10 years supervisory experience with proven ability to lead, coach, manage, mentor and motivate a sales team
  • Superior presentation skills.
  • A proven strategic thinker who will embrace the sales process in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Open, accessible, outgoing, sales-oriented individual who develops and builds strong relationships with community, civic, and media entities
