GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:

The Vice President, Marketing is an expert on the Company’s marketing vision and product-branding strategies,
translating these strategies into specific initiatives with measurable targets and timelines and driving organic growth.
This position is responsible for oversight of the Company’s digital marketing presence including website content, print
and internet marketing campaigns, and collateral materials and documentation. In addition, this position is responsible
for working closely with the Vice President, Sales and Product Managers on product market launch strategies, product
positioning, and setting future product direction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Digital Presence – Coordinate the creation and maintenance of websites, social media, and other relevant digital

platforms that effectively reinforce the Company’s image as a technology leader and provider of excellent
customer service

  • Market Intelligence – Be the expert on your competition, understand how the competition is positioning their

solutions versus the Company’s and develop and implement strategies that effectively counter those initiatives

  • Product launches – Plan and execute the market launch of new product releases and manage the crossfunctional

implementation of the plan in conjunction with the Sales team

  • Develop, implement and monitor marketing strategies, work plans, and budgets
  • Develop a measuring system for determining the success of each marketing program and track performance on

the success of each program

  • Develop the brand positioning, messaging, and segmentation for both Techniks, Parlec and any future developed

or acquired brands

  • Maintain editorial control of all marketing and public relations collateral
  • Develop sales support tools including launch collateral and any associated demo materials
  • Coordinates with the Vice President, Sales on field training sessions and materials
  • Develop and deliver highly tailored content for presentations, webinars, and sales meetings
  • Budget for, and coordinate execution of, all trade shows and open houses including securing booth spaces,

signage, product merchandising, display designs, show promotions, collateral material, lead harvesting and postshow
follow-up

  • Assist in mining current sales data for actionable business intelligence and using targeted marketing and sales

tactics to drive tangible growth.

Requirements for Consideration:

  • Preferred candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in a marketing leadership role in a manufacturing/industrials business
  • Ability to communicate with senior management about marketing initiatives and project metrics, as well as to

brainstorm fresh strategies

  • Ability to act as a leader and facilitator within the company
  • Ability to be both tactical and strategic
  • Demonstrable experience designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, web analytics and Google Adwords
  • Must be driven to solve challenging problems
  • Ability to adapt to changing company and industry conditions
  • Must be hands on, action-oriented, and care about customers. Ability to present to customers in a professional

manner is imperative

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Strong writing skills are critical
  • Ability to manage multiple work streams and collaborate with cross-functional teams
