As a member of our Project Execution team, you’ll draw on your strengths managing people and processes to manage technology projects that typically span multiple lines of business and have firm-wide implications. You’ll lead these projects from initiation through implementation, including: establishing project requirements, priorities and deadlines; ensuring that relevant risk and architecture requirements are in place; and managing the project budget and resources. In addition to collaborating with your teammates, you’ll communicate with stakeholders across the firm to work toward the best possible outcomes. While this role is rooted in project management, it’s a terrific opportunity to develop your leadership skills and make lasting connections throughout JPMorgan Chase & Co.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Product owner to align teams with the product vision, sprint goals, and other necessary information
  • Facilitate and coach a sprint team through all ceremonies towards product delivery.

  • Communicate organizational impediments to leadership; clear impediments for the team
  • Facilitate and coach a sprint team through all ceremonies towards product delivery
  • Coach product owners in creation and maintenance of the product backlog including empirical planning
  • Lead coordination to maintain application – deploy code, support during outages, incident and change management, etc.

This role requires a wide range of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in one or more business disciplines or functions
  • Experience project managing multiple projects
  • Knowledge of global and line of business project management standards and methods
  • Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
  • Experience managing Vendor relationships and applications required.
  • Experience with managing application development lifecycle using Agile
  • Ability to define project objectives and oversee quality control throughout project life cycle – project plans, milestones using scope, resources, and personnel as criteria
  • Ability to exhibit detailed-oriented, results-driven, high-energy and motivated behaviors.
  • Ability to guide Product Owners with best practices and product roadmap and release train delivery
  • Ability to collaborate with and influence people at various levels
  • Proficiency with software development technologies including Jenkins, BitBucket, Build and QA Automation.
  • Knowledge of application hygiene protocols and remediations – i.e. static and dynamic code scanning
  • Working knowledge of software code development – HTML, JavaScript, JAVA, etc.
