There is currently an opportunity for a Technical Service Project Manager, reporting to the Director of Technical Services. This position is responsible for the following job duties:

  • Develop project scope, goals and contractual deliverables.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects.
  • Identify resources needed to complete projects.
  • Register, compile, submit and negotiate contractual modifications as appropriate.
  • Conduct timely project reviews to ensure each project is on track to meet deliverables for both internal and external users.
  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to minimize the impact on the overall project.
  • Coordinate with the Accounting Department to ensure costs are in-line with projected plan.
  • Accountable for the timely, accurate and complete reporting on project success.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management of capital, R&D and related projects for a minimum of five years.
  • Highly organized and able to work independently on multiple tasks.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments and deliver as planned.
  • Knowledge of contract administration, technical, legal and commercial terms and conditions.
  • Understanding of estimation and budgeting process.
  • Negotiations skills required.
  • Experience in overseeing environmental management system.
  • Must be able to travel domestic and international as required.
