SOFTWARE PROJECT MANAGER
YOUR TASKS
The Software Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful realization of projects awarded to the Software and Contols HUB by our customer Business Units.
As a Software Project Managers you ensure that your project team drives value, standardization, cost effectiveness and supportability of the HUB’s software and controls offering across Swisslog Americas for all it’s customers by creating a world-class software and controls organization with value generating products and services.
In this role, you will become part of a fast growing global company offering turnkey integrated solutions for material handling, order fulfillment, and inventory control. You will be given the opportunity to utilize your project management experience and further develop your leadership skills by taking control for the technical and commercial success of multi-million dollar system integration projects through their entire lifecycles.
Your commitment to lead and coordinate all necessary tasks, including thorough reviews of proposals, contracts, specifications and drawings, site surveys, system design, and equipment procurement ensures that your projects will be delivered on time, on budget, and with superior quality.
Your determination to develop strong relationships with your customers, combined with your ability to lead, manage and motivate internal teams are key drivers for outstanding customer satisfaction. By taking responsibility for cost management, change order processing, project completion, and close out you will become part of Swisslog’s continuing success and growth in North America.
YOUR PROFILE
- 5+ years of software or controls development and implementation, from which at least 3+ years as PM managing development team of 6 or more developers
- Have experience and a proven track record in leading Software and/or Controls project teams successfully, achieving the goals set by the management
- Have working knowledge of the Warehouse and Distribution business sector
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
- Effective planning abilities, not only with project scheduling, but also personally to achieve the required goals and duties.
- Excellent listening skills – willing to learn from others.
- PMP or Scrum certification
