I am looking for project managers for New York and Los Angeles
This position will oversee the architectural design, budget and project progress to ensure completion of projects on schedule and to client satisfaction. The project manager will develop construction plans, assist in evaluating and selecting architectural, construction and engineering contractors and coordinate the work of the project and design teams, as well as serve as the primary contact between the client and the firmâs design teams.
Background & Skills Education
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Building, Interior design or related field.
Experience
7+ years of experience in managing architecture/interior design-based projects.
Essential Functions
- Confers with Managing Director, Project Director, Design Directors, Senior Designers and/or client to discuss project schedules and AR collections.
- Participates in preparation of project budgets, project schedules and consultant cost management.
- Develops and maintains a positive relationship and channels of communication with client, and staff.
- Initiates and maintains overall staff utilization/ work plan through the course of the project.
- Prepares project status reports and reviews with the Project Director.
- Participates in the preparation of project work plans, allocates fees/hours by phase/task/person and monitors semi-monthly.
- Recommend changes/modifications to project delivery system.
- Prepares supplemental service proposal for Project Director and Managing Director.
- Provides project team coordination for project deliverables.
- Strong leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skills.
- Develops project goals in conjunction with other team members.
- Initiates and coordinates team meetings, design, review, etc.
- Ensures project delivery within project criteria and office standards.
- Establishes project directory and a list of contact persons.
- Initiates client meetings.
- Revise staff hour/fee budget.
