Responsible for overseeing and leading the implementation of a division’s initiatives, programs and processes with consistent excellence that supports the company, develops the team, and honors the company’s values. Primary duties with the most expert skill level and tasks with the most advanced complexity and broad/enterprise scale may include, but are not limited to:
  • Plan, design, develop and lead programming in making Anthem’s Ethics, Compliance & Privacy program highly effective.
  • Oversees programs for multiple departments/functions with advance multiple layers and objectives.
  • Designs strategic plans for the overall Compliance function of Anthem’s international subsidiary.
  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports; collaborates with management to set strategic vision; may oversee a manager(s)/director(s) with direct reports.

Requires a BA/BS; MS/MBA/JD or professional designation preferred; at least 5 years of global compliance experience, particularly Asia, required.Prior health care regulatory, ethics, compliance and/or privacy experience preferred; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background; 8-10 years management experience, including strong leadership/managerial skills and ability to motivate/coach other staff. Ability to travel required.
