Full Job Description
Role: Scrum Master / Technical Project Manager
Job Location : Fort Worth, TX
Duration : 6 Months
Interview Mode : Skype/Phone
Skills and Experience:
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- Minimum 5 yearsâ experience in managing digital (web/mobile) application/project delivery
- Working experience with Agile project management tools, processes, metrics, code quality tools and test management tools, understanding of traditional project management
- Experience in playing the Scrum Master role for at least one year for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory
- Hands-on experience in PHP/Drupal/Acquia Cloud Site Factory desired
- Able to manage the delivery of 3-4 web/mobile application concurrently in terms of scope, timeline and budget
- Ability to understand and contribute to technical architecture and design of web/mobile solutions, guide and consult business customers on optimal implementation approaches
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across own team, customers and suppliers, and in geographically distributed and culturally diversified environments
- Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships
- Ability to manage ambiguity and apply analytical thinking
- Proficient in English (written and spoken)
Role:
- Assesses the Agile maturity of the team and organization and coaches the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization
- Removes impediments or guides the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment
- Responsible for overall project execution and delivery, i.e. for cost, time and quality of deliverables for the projects in his/her portfolio
- Communicates with project stakeholders globally
- Responsible for detailed development & testing estimates
- Reviews and approves technical roadmap and project milestones, timeline and resources
- Liaises with the various stakeholders (UI/UX, solution and technical architects, business analysts and development teams) to facilitate the conceptualization of the solution, feasibility analysis and all aspects of delivery
- Prioritizes development resources to focus on the activities of high risk and that are on projectâs critical path
- Ensures that quality standards are met through effective use of processes, methodologies and tools
- Responsible for periodic and relevant contribution to the knowledge management systems
- Ensures risks are raised, monitored, mitigated and escalated as appropriate
