Job Introduction:
The Corporate Functions, Global Finance Technology is actively searching for a Scrum Master ll to lead the implementation of a Global General Ledger SAP solution in partnership with our Global Retail Markets East and West Finance business team. Candidate will work with business and IT partners from all over the company including our GRM E/W country operations in Asia, Europe and South America.
The Scrum Master ll is responsible for coordination of our Home Office implementation team and international delivery teams. Facilitates process and program execution, escalates impediments, manages risk and dependencies, and helps drive program-level continuous improvement.
About the job:
- Generally leads more than one team in moderate to high complexity projects. Oversees agile processes and coaches the teams on agile methodology and continuous improvement.
- Facilitates transparency, inspection, and adaption.
- Lead daily scrums, sprint reviews, and planning meetings to ensure full team engagement. Manage interdependencies between agile teams.
- Work with the Product Owners to support short and long-term release planning, and to keep work backlog healthy and prepared for execution.
- Shield the teams from external interference to enable optimal functionality and productivity.
- Anticipate and address potential or actual impediments to team delivery (cultural barriers, logistic challenges).
- Mentor junior Scrum Masters and coach team members on Agile practices.
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 + years related experience as a project team member and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Agile software development including coaching on agile methodologies, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Experience working in a scaled agile framework preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of business functions and extensive understanding of business operations, strategies and objectives.
