  • The Scrum Master supports the team on their understanding of Agile and delivery of a product.
  • It is the Scrum Master’s role to teach the team Agile practices, facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments and shield them from external distractions.
  • The Scrum Master brings the Product Owner and the team together and helps them understand each other.
  • This individual is also a personal coach for team members and an innovator who constantly seeks continuous improvement and builds high performing teams.

Qualifications


What it takes

o Developing and managing critical business applications

o Driving programs from conceptual stage to implementation

o Removing impediments for team

o Working closely with people across multiple business and IT teams

o Working with governance and architecture teams

o Working with CTO to get approvals in implementing newer technologies.

o Thinks strategically and comes up with innovative approaches to solving problems

o Super interested in delivering business value using newer technologies

o Motivates team to become full stack developers

o Technical experience working with various technology stacks and coaching development teams

Manages technology projects or technical workstreams within a broader project or program. Develops, implements, and monitors project plans. Contributes expertise to major project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks. Provides insight on best practices and common obstacles based on prior experiences. Serves as a trusted advisor to ensure strategies are aligned with the overall department and business requirements. Communicates project status and issues regularly to stakeholders, including leaders, team members, and senior managers. Builds and maintains effective relationships. Proactively fosters communication between internal and external project stakeholders. Influences key decisions across stakeholder groups. Proactively identifies, manages, and mitigates risks and any related issues on technology projects. Communicates solutions on key issues or projects to management and stakeholders to obtain their input and buy-in as appropriate. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned. Minimum of three years related work experience. Two years of managing a project preferred. Financial Services and technical experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience in a related field (Computer Science, Engineering
