Project Manager, Engineering

HGD (Engineering) is looking for a Project Manager – Engineer to provide the following:

• Establishing project teams and requesting project interest from existing partnering firms for participation in solicitations and project contracts
• Tracking projects and ensuring timely schedule management
• Coordinating internal and client team meetings

• Coordinating and leading client status update meetings and correspondence

• Ensuring project team complies to HGD quality control checklists

• Mitigating/minimizing schedule and cost growth

• Assigning and tracking project team progress

• Conducting interviews and supporting hiring process of technical team staff

Ideal candidates meet the following basic qualifications:

• College graduate with an Engineering, Architecture or STEM related Degree

• Certifications in AIA, PE, and/or PMP preferred

• Moderate to high experience with making interdependent strategic decisions

• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to address complex issues

• Fully accessible within work hours during project duration

• Able to work within a remote location effectively

• Excellent verbal, writing and interpersonal skills

• Interns are welcomed (for high school seniors and college students pursuing a business or engineering degree only)

Travel Requirement: Local travel required.

Salary: $30.00 to $45.00 /hour

• Project Management: 5 years (Required)

• Facility Engineering or Construction: 1 year (Required)
