    About the Project Manager Role
    Sitehands is seeking a Project Manager to act as a critical team member of the Client Delivery Team serving our clients as the point of contact on assigned IT Infrastructure projects. They will perform a variety of project coordination duties including the project start up, planning, execution, and close out phases of infrastructure related projects following Sitehands’ proprietary methodology and platform. Project Managers are the front line support and primary interface to the client while collaborating with other support members of the team to deliver the best possible outcome and experience to our clients.

    General Responsibilities

    • Oversee and ensure client network hardware refreshes are successfully executed.
    • Co-location experience; familiar with site access requirements, and working with onsite support technicians (Equinex, Level3 Digital Reality)
    • Plan Router upgrades and provide details technician scope of work in advance
    • Plan Circuit migrations and communicate technical details (cable matrix) to local support technicians
    • Identify areas of risk in existing client technology environments on initial site assessments prior to proceeding with upgrades.
    • Experience Project managing field technicians. Ensuring they are fully prepared and properly equipment to interface with the client and complete the assignment.
    • Must be familiar with Cisco network equipment.
    • Must be familiar with copper and fiber infrastructure.
    • Must be available to monitor after hours network migration calls.
    • Compiling and reviewing client deliverables (i.e survey results, upgrade before and after results, etc.)
    • Experience managing work remotely and demonstrate the ability to virtually manage dispersed resources.
    • Hosting/joining conference calls with technicians/client to ensure work activity is completed.
    • Collaborate with Regional Technology Mangers (RTM) to ensure field work is meeting their technology standards.
    • Proven client relationship development capability.
    • Provide customer quotes and manage program budget.
    • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
    • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
    • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
    • Ensure resource availability and allocation
    • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
    • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
    • Report and escalate to management as needed
    • Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
    • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
    • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
    • Recognize that collaborative and collective responsibility has an impact on project goals, objectives and performance

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
    • Experience:
    • PM I 2 – 3 years of experience
    • PM II 4 + years of experience
    • PMI or PMP is preferred
    • Must be highly organized and efficient with getting things done.
    • Demonstrate a super hero attitude of “can do” every day.
    • Must be resourceful and think things through with little direction.
    • Experience working on multiple projects at one time (30-40 a month/5-10 concurrent at once)
    • Knowledge of MS Product Suite, Visio and Project management tools
    • Knowledge of infrastructure cabling and products
    • Monthly invoicing and Project budgeting tracking
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills; must be able to communicate to all levels of the organization.
    • Highly responsive to customer requests and communications, during day and when production changes are being implemented
    • Highly motivated and self-directed, with keen attention to detail.
