About the Project Manager Role
Sitehands is seeking a Project Manager to act as a critical team member of the Client Delivery Team serving our clients as the point of contact on assigned IT Infrastructure projects. They will perform a variety of project coordination duties including the project start up, planning, execution, and close out phases of infrastructure related projects following Sitehands’ proprietary methodology and platform. Project Managers are the front line support and primary interface to the client while collaborating with other support members of the team to deliver the best possible outcome and experience to our clients.
General Responsibilities
Your specific duties as Associate Project Manager will vary by client and project requirements. These responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Develop and maintain a project plan, which outlines project tasks, milestone dates, status and allocation of resources to stakeholders.
- Plan and coordinate project schedules, goals and milestones and make project assignments.
- Manage projects with top-down oversight from inception to completion. Provide detailed technical scopes of work for our technicians to execute work in the field.
- Ensure field technicians are fully prepared and properly equip to interface with the customer and complete the assignment.
- Communicate technical details to local support technicians and ensure the techs performing the work understand the scope they are executing.
- Identify areas of risk in existing customer technology environments on initial site assessments prior to proceeding with the project.
- Compile and review customer deliverables (i.e. survey results, upgrade before and after results, etc.).
- Create technical documentation as needed and report on progress of project.
- Participate in conference calls with technicians/customer to ensure work activity is completed.
- Build trusting relationships with the customers being supported.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
