This role will lead Asset Protection programs and projects, including those as part of Fuel for Growth. The primary function is to have a high level, strategic view of the Asset Protection organization and help implement critical initiatives that will push Meijer forward in a competitive retail environment. The position will partner closely with all business areas to prioritize, facilitate, manage and track Asset Protection programs and projects. This position will be responsible for leading cross functional project teams that will include team members from across the organization.

What You’ll be Doing:

  • Provide project management for key Asset Protection business projects and programs
  • Leads in the development of key business relationships and integrate activities with other business areas and/or vendors to ensure successful project implementation
  • Plans, schedules, manages, tracks and controls Asset Protection business projects and programs including monitoring project plans, tracking key milestones, and forming recommendations regarding cross-project dependencies
  • Partners with ITS and Finance business partners to track, review, and report on IT resources
  • Communicates project/program status and progress
  • Craft messaging to leadership for high profile external and internal meetings
  • Craft messaging for new strategic efforts enterprise-wide

What You Bring with You (Qualifications):

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years in retail space or strategic business background
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence at all levels
  • Strategic mindset and out of the box thinking will be critical
